Setting up your Linksys range extender in Access Point mode
• You must check that your Wi-fi Has an active connection.
• An ethernet cable long enough to connect your router to your range extender.
• Your Wi-Fi name (SSID) and Wi-Fi password/security key.
• At first, you must Plugin your range extender into a power outlet.
• Then Connect an ethernet cable from the router to your range extender and wait until the LED turns green.
• Then you have to Connect a wireless computer or a mobile device to the range extender's default SSID.
• Then open any of the web browsers on to your Computer or laptop, then on the address bar of the web browser enter your Router Default Ip address. Then Press Enter.
Now a new login page will open where you have to enter login details.
Once you enter correct username andn password you will able to make Linksys range extender login
Select the As a wired range extender (Access point) option, then click Next.
Create the extended network that the range extender will be broadcasting, then click Next.
• Now you have to Create an admin password (so that no one can hack) to secure your range extender, then click Save. You may also add a password hint.
• Then you have to Enter your Email Address then click Next, or click Skip.
In this above way, you will be able to Set up your Linksys range extender in Access Point mode.
